2012 PC Patient Support Meeting, Edinburgh: 28-30th October

The next patient support meeting will be held at the Best Western Edinburgh Capital Hotel, Edinburgh, Scotland from 28-30th October 2012. The meeting will begin Sunday evening, October 28th with registration and a welcome dinner and will continue with presentations and discussions on Monday, October 29th and half day on Tuesday, October 30th. The meeting will conclude with a luncheon at noon on Tuesday, October 30th. Please see attached file for details.

London To York Cycle Ride:23rd-25th June 2011

An amazing achievement by PCer Kieren Eyles and his sister Kassia who cycled from London to York, 269 miles in 3 days and raised £2,100!
Many thanks to all their sponsors and to friends who supported them along the way, provided accommodation and, met and celebrated with them in York.
Christmas Craft Sale, University of Dundee:1st November 2010

For the second year running, two local ladies who spend the year sewing and making gifts had another very successful Christmas sale at the University of Dundee raising £334. Many thanks to all members of the College of Life Sciences who supported this event.
PC Patient Suppport Meeting, Edinburgh:22nd-24th October 2010

34 PCers and their families attended the PC patient support meeting in Edinburgh. During the meeting several fundraising events were held that were generously supported by all at the meeting. A sale of homemade gifts and Christmas cards made by local ladies raised £329, a raffle raised £199 and £50 was raised from the auction of a bottle of whisky. Together with several other donations made at the meeting just over £1,000 was raised – many thanks to all of you.
300 Mile Cycle Ride In Wales Raised £1,600:12-15th August 2010

Tom Baker, a PCer, with 4 friends completed a sponsored cycle ride covering almost 300 miles of the Welsh countryside to raise funds for PC Project UK. Starting in Swansea, they cycled to Aberystwyth, before heading to Lake Bala, then down to Rhayader and finally back to Swansea.
